Curraghmore House & Gardens
The Curraghmore Estate has contained the home of the Marquis of Waterford and his ancestors since 1170.
The garden includes an arboretum, some beautiful terraces designed by the various Lady Waterford’s of the day and a bridge built for King John to cross the River Clodagh in 1205. A unique shell grotto was built and decorated by the Countess of Tyrone in 1754.
Opening Times and Prices
Friday , Saturday , Sundays and Bank holiday Mondays from 10 to 16-30 . Guided tours available at 11am and 2pm on these days and can be booked by going to Curraghmore.ie
Season starts May bank Holiday weekend until the end of September.
Entrance Fee: House and gardens €15; Gardens only €5.
