Laetare Vocal Ensemble at Christ Church Cathedral
Christ Church Cathedral is delighted to host Laetare Vocal Ensemble – a chamber choir based in Dublin. Founded in 2014 by conductor Róisín Blunnie, the choir is active in concerts, festivals, collaborations, commissions, and recordings. Competition successes include the ‘Ireland’s Choir of the Year’ award, Schuman-Europe award and Contemporary Music Centre Trophy at the Cork International Choral Festival, 2nd prize in the international category at the City of Derry International Choir Festival, and a Gold Diploma in the Grand Prix final of the Ave Verum International Choral Festival, Austria.
The Dublin choir shall be joined by well-known locals: Voci Ladies Choir and award-winning SETU Youth Choir on 2nd March at 6pm.
Tickets available on the door for €10 with all funds going to the upkeep of the Cathedral.
